Home » About me
I was born in Terrassa, but Barcelona, with its energy and diversity, has fueled my artistic passion. After more than two decades in another professional field, I fully embraced creative expression. Every artwork is now a space for exploration, emotion, and continuous learning.
My project Inside the Closet reflects my commitment to diversity, identity, and inclusion. Paintings and sculptures challenge prejudice and celebrate shared humanity, forming a social narrative that evolves with each new work.
While oil painting remains my foundation, my work has grown to include mixed media, drawing, textile art, and other disciplines. This freedom allows me to expand horizons, experiment, and keep my creativity constantly alive.
I have been fortunate to exhibit my works internationally, but my greatest motivation is to connect with people, collectors, and galleries, sharing experiences and emotions through art. Every interaction with viewers completes the creative journey I began years ago.
My work has been exhibited in several countries, but my true goal is to build connections with collectors, galleries, and curators worldwide, sharing experiences and emotions through art. Each international connection enriches my practice and opens new creative possibilities.
About me
FROM STRUCTURE TO SOVEREIGNTY
For over two decades, my world was defined by the rigor of volume and industrial design at the Inditex Group. I mastered structure, but in 2018, I felt that matter needed to speak a truth that the industry could no longer silence. My shift toward the visual arts was not a rupture; it was an act of liberation.
RADICAL HONESTY
THE CLOSET
My project “Inside the Closet” is born from a position of radical honesty: involuntary outsiderness. I do not start from personal experience, but from an empathetic curiosity that leads me into this space of memory.
“The consciousness that once held me in this closet is today what dictates every stroke of sovereignty and resistance in my work.”
MATERIAL ALCHEMY & TECHNICAL RIGOR
I perform an archaeology of the invisible. My background in fashion is the precision tool that allows me to hybridize papier-mâché, oil, and denim with exceptional technical rigor. I don’t just paint to represent; I paint to process a deep learning about freedom.
THE OBSERVER DECIDES
For me, the individual and the collective meet within every brushstroke and every texture. I provide the canvas and the medium, but the Observer decides who and where they are in the face of it. My work is a two-way mirror where you have the final word.
A GAZE FROM DISCOVERY
Based in Barcelona, my studio is a laboratory of identities where technical mastery merges with contemporary visual arts. From here, I develop projects that seek to give visibility to what silence once hid. My work does not end in the studio; it is completed through your gaze.
